I felt strongly about you,
Would you care?
If I told you…
I care about everything you say,
Would you smile and reveal your feelings?
Or just say ok?

If I told you…
I wanted to write you,
Would you live through the letters?
Or never respond?
If I told you…
All I want is a reaction,
Would you give it to me?
Or just walk away?

If I told you…
I’d give you my heart, my everything,
Would you let me and give me more?
Or just let me cry?
If I told you...
To just ask the question,
Would you ask it?
Or let my love for you die?

If I told you…
I loved you,
Would you say it back?
Or just try to avoid it?
If I told you...
Everything I said was true,
Would you realize the love I have for you?
Or leave me in the dust waiting til you do?

This poem is about a girl not knowing these things about a guy she feels very strongly about. She knows in her heart that there is something there between them, and she knows if they were together it could be more than just a relationship. Then it comes to her that he doesn't feel the same for her he doesn't see what she does. She then she realizes that he can not care for her, but she will always keep waiting till he does...sad I know
